01

Ledgers, accounts and contacts

Map sales, returns, taxes, shipping, discounts, default party, B2B/export, goodwill and gift-card liability to the appropriate accounting roles.

  • Tally: opt into core ledger creation using the standard group for each supported role.
  • Gateway and COD-courier creation have their own controls.
  • Zoho: supported clearing, goodwill and gift-card accounts and generic B2C contact creation are configurable. This is not automatic creation of every chart-of-accounts role.
  • B2B parties/contacts are matched by GSTIN through the enabled B2B workflow.
02

Itemized billing in both ERPs

Choose aggregate rate-group posting or itemized billing in Tally Prime and Zoho Books.

  • Map Shopify SKUs to existing ERP item names; add SKU mappings as needed.
  • Check Tally stock items against the configured names with a read-only check.
  • Opt-in Tally creation uses unit Nos and group Primary.
  • Opt-in Zoho creation produces tracked Goods items. Existing unsuitable item types may need replacement and remapping.
  • With creation disabled, resolve missing items before the affected posting proceeds.
03

Tax, HSN and warehouse mappings

Set a shop GST default, product-type overrides and per-SKU overrides. HSN/SAC supports shop defaults and per-SKU values.

  • Map fulfillment locations to ship-from states and applicable ERP locations.
  • Configure ERP state names where needed.
  • Missing required configuration is visible for correction.
04

Choose your posting detail

Use one party account, gateway-level clearing, or gateway plus COD-courier clearing. Show shipping and discounts separately or within sales.

  • Illustration: goods ₹1,000 less discount ₹100 plus shipping ₹50 gives taxable value ₹950.
  • At an illustrative 18%, GST is ₹171 and total ₹1,121 whichever supported presentation you select.
05

Tally voucher numbering

Use Tally numbering or a Ledgeree-controlled format with prefix, suffix, padding, starting number and reset cadence.

  • Set shop defaults and company-specific overrides.
  • Each company keeps separate Sales and Credit Note counters.
  • Enable the corresponding Manual or Automatic (Manual Override) numbering setting in Tally for custom numbers.
06

Validate before live posting

Configure separate test and live Tally company names. Test mode posts actual vouchers to the designated test company so you can review the output.

  • Create the separate company in Tally first; this is not a simulated preview.
  • Zoho lets you choose the destination organization and whether newly posted invoices are marked as sent or left as drafts.
07

B2B and export controls

Choose GSTIN and business-name sources, dedicated accounting mappings and exclusions for orders invoiced manually.

  • Configure the LUT number and financial year for the supported export workflow.
  • Disabling B2B party creation currently gives B2C treatment; it is not an existing-B2B-parties-only option.
08

Reusable exports

Create custom export templates with selected fields, column headings and order, using aggregate or itemized rows.

  • Generate a repeatable file for your accountant or another ERP’s manual import workflow.
  • Direct Tally/Zoho posting and custom CSV export are distinct connection choices.
09

Free items and replacement stock

For Tally with itemized billing, choose whether to post eligible zero-value stock lines in Settings > Products.

  • Enable Post free items (zero value) when free shipments should move stock in Tally.
  • Set Allow zero-valued transactions to Yes for the Tally Sales voucher type.
  • Review a sample in your test company before using the setting for live books.
